You can be charged for being 'drunk in charge' of any vehicle including a bicycle. I would like to see the Police Sleigh that would chase Santa. Would they have a version of Rudolph with a flashing blue nose? That would make it worth watching the Christmas Special of World's Most Exciting Police Chases.

It is Christmas Magic! Father Christmas can drink all he wants on Christmas eve, but only on Christmas eve.
For but a little while longer this year....
A Merrily joyous, barking mad, wickedly happy Christmas to everyone who celebrates!
Best wishes from

Santa has magic reindeer - they steer the sleigh for him, so he doesn't need to know where he is. He just needs to appear mildly sober to drop off the presents.
