those are only some i can think of now. they might not be great songs but they were played alot on Top 40 stations in the USA when they were new but then forgotten about after.

they certainly will not found on those cheesy "compilation cd's by decade" that always have the same songs on them that you find in stores or on tv.

you can probably find videos of some of these songs on youtube.com, i'm sure some are still available for download on itunes as well.

I don't think that songs can be both obscure and hit songs. Its either one or the other...but I guess that also depends on how much music you listen to and what genres interest you. Try "Psycho Killer" by The Talking Heads.
