i work in an international hotel and so we get people from all over...i just think that its usually a misunderstanding of humor..whats funny to one may not be so funny to another...all do to with the geographics and situations going on...i also think it is just as well the execution of the joke..how you say it that will effect the overall response to the "funny thing" but that is what is so great about being different...

Ever since political correctness arrived, Americans have no sense of humor and are overly sensitive about everything and are so worried about who offended then that they fail to see the humor in anything. If you cant laugh at yourself a little then your life is really very sad.

They do come across as being a bit uptight.
They just can't take criticism. It's an allegiance to the flag thing. Insult one and you insult them all.

Hell yeah, why else do they have to valiantly defend themselves by bombing countrys that can't do anything about it, they have no sense of humour, and the world's largest case of penis envy.

It is a matter of anal-cranial inversion with a lot of them. Heads so far up their own bums they can't taste, smell, or see humour. Lots of clowns elected to political office, however.
