after seeing this http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ it seems comon that ordinary people are sending e-mails to the white house, what do you think they say in their messages, do you think someone will really read them. and if you were to send a message what would you say/ask?

As I have sent several letters and emails to both the White House and the State Department this last year, I can say that definitely one of a few things happened. Either they threw them out and erased them right away or they read them and have chosen to not send me any kind of response. Me being a common nobody I'm used to not getting recognition though. It's totally coolz.

Oh, we do it all the time.

Usually something like: "Dear Sir, would you please quit [whatever you are up to this time] because it really pisses us off."

I think a staffer reads them, and tallys those they are keeping track of in order to take the pulse of the nation.
