Okay the next question is: 3) if you keep the foreskin rolled back everytime, doesn't that take away the sensitivity of the head of the penis because it is getting rub against the clothing all the time?
4) So if you do keep the foreskin back the whole time throughout your life, won't that take away the sexual pleasure and the climax?
5) Now let's say the person DO NOT keep the foreskin back thoughout his life, will that give him more sexual pleasure and climax when he have sex?

foreskin is in the normal position when it is covering the glans/head of the penis. foreskin is designed to protect he head from chafing and drying out.

however, when showering, the foreskin should be retracted so you can clean all of your penis including the head and underside of the foreskin. In addition, when putting on a condom, the foreskin should be retracted so it is all on the shaft and any excess is kind of trapped behind the head under the condom.

to keep the foreskin pulled back all the time can lead to a drying of the head, it becoming desensitized by constant friction against clothing, and even a problem whereby you may not be able to roll it back down over the head and require medical attention.

so feel free to play with it, retract for cleaning and condom wearing and glide it up and down during masturbation but otherwise let it assume it's natural role and position.

I am thankfully not circumcised and retain a totally natural and normal penis, I guess as you were circumcised at age 12 there was medical reason for this but I can't imagine it was a particularly pleasant experinece to go through and I feel sorry that you had to. Wearing a condom and having a foreskin is no problem as the foreskin naturally retracts when you have an erection so the penis functions and looks very similar to penis that has been circumcised. As far as making sex comfortable or not I don't know, but what I can say is that I always enjoy sex and have never had any problems. I can't answer you third point as I am still intact and will remain so. Foreskin restoration is a long complicated and expensive procedure, if you do some internet reaserch you will find out more, but now that you have been circumcised you will just have to live with it. Again, question 5 is difficlut to answer as I have a foreskin but as the foreskin is designed to prtotect the penis head and therefore keep it more sensetive ( after circumcision the penis head becomes much less sensetive ) however, when I do occaisonally keep my foreskin retracted during a normal day it is incredibly sensetive and ofetn painfully so ! As a matter of interest and for all the ignorant people that answered this question earlier, the foreskin is part of a totally natural and normal penis, in my opinion a circumcised penis could therefore be described as abnormal. There is nothing disgusting about a foreskin, with normal good personal hygiene practices there is no difference between a cut or uncut penis. I suggest that those of you in the US get out into the real world eg. most countries on the other side of the border where 90% of men are not routinely mutilated and I can assure you that those 90% have no issues with having a foreskin. Stop believing in all the circumcision propoganda, circumcision was routinely practised in the US to prevent masturbation, so lets face it that hasn't really worked has it !

1. I roll mine back when I'm peeing or washing it, either to keep it clean or to clean it.

2. I generally don't keep my foreskin rolled back because it can be uncomfortable, and my foreskin doesn't like to stay rolled back anyway.

3. It can take away some sensitivity, but as long as you have your foreskin and you let it do what it needs to, it won't matter much.

4. I don't know. Again, as long as your foreskin is working fine and you let it do what it's supposed to, then it probably won't make too much of a difference.

5. If you only roll back your foreskin to clean it and such, then it makes sense that the glans will be more sensitive. But how much more, I don't think anyone knows.

Basically, do whatever you want as long as it's not uncomfortable and you don't hinder the function of your foreskin.

Leave it alone when not in use the skin will be rolled over and when in use it will be rolled back.

You are lucky the doctors did not mutilate your body the hood is there to protect the glans so they will remain sensitive. I don't have one like yours so I cant say if I am more sensitive or less but I think that direct stimulation should be more then what I feel when being stimulated and that makes sense since they cut mine off without even asking me.

And all of these women that think they know how to take care of a penis, they don't .....cause they don't have one.

Just keep it clean as we keep our bodies clean, it kills me how women always say oh its nasty and a health risk..........well look at what they got theirs is all in and must be cleaned too!

HELLO!

And all this new media coverage of how uncircumcised men are high risk for aids.............that study was done in Africa where the majority are uncircumcised and aids is rampant in both genders, and hygiene is perhaps not what it should be...............so buzz off on that one...............don't they know that God does not make mistakes!

If you are uncircumcised you need to keep clean and roll it back. If you are circumcised you clean it differently. Being uncircumcized is more of a problem for young boys who do not keep themselves clean and elderly men who can no longer keep themselves clean.

You need to keep it clean or you can get an infection. If an infection gets bad sometimes a man needs to be circumcized.

If you need instuction on this you can consult a urologist. If you are having problems you should see a doctor or urologist. Infection can breed under that skin, so keep it clean.

When you are not washing yourself you should just keep yourself in your natural state not rolled back. Let your body do what comes naturally do not force it to go back. As to sensitivity men who are circumcised have their skin back all the time. They still have good sex lives. Let your body be natural when you are not washing and cleaning it.

For exercise? If you mean for intercourse you will discover that Ma Nature has sorted that one out. The foreskin will go where it fits, usually rolled up. But not by your hands. Keep Smiling.

Well I roll MINE back. I think that helps maintain it clean. Or at least for me. I never used to do that when I was younger, but I've been pulling it back since I was 15. I don't really think it matters though. It usually depends on the guy and what is most comfortable for him.

Hey do yourself a favor and get circumcised!

CIRCUMCISION IS VERY BENEFICIAL, its cleaner and several research bodies have concluded that circumcised men have less risk of contracting STD's such as AIDS-HIV or herpes.

Uncircumcised penises are difficult to keep clean, and more prone to infections and penile cancer, studies have shown.
A circumcised penis is naturally clean and virtually free from urinary infection. You will not have to worry again with careful washing of your penis.

About STD's:

As I said, several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have concluded that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. Circumcised men have been proved to be up to seven times less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site: http://www.torontodailynews.com/index.php/HealthNews/2006121404Circumcision

As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protects female partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html

About sensitivity of a circumcised penis:

No medical or physiological study has proved that circumcision reduces sensitivity, opposed to common belief. It is completely FALSE that circumcision reduces penis sensitivity. The American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm

Circumcision is an easy and nowadays *painless* procedure, which has many benefits, and virtually no risks.
Circumcision is NOT an amputation. Circumcision is NOT comparable at all to female circumcision, which is something completely different.

Circumcision rates are INCREASING nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African and South American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.

Finally, this site has a lot of useful and *unbiased* information. Make sure you have a good look: http://www.circinfo.net
