Christmas has become only a commercial holiday? It seems that everywhere I turn I see a kitsch object related to it. What do you think?

Commercial holiday, generally speaking yes.
The only kitsch objects that I see are the ones that are used to make fun of the Holiday.
It's sad. I remember Christmas's from the 1960s as being FAR different than today. The reason for the season hasn't changed. But the way, people choose to view it has changed immensly.

all holidays are too commercial, another advertising opportunity. Christmas is the biggest ploy, shop now, we will be closed Dec 25.
Santa, began the distraction of the Christ Mass.
Misdirection, keeps the masses unfocused and more controllable
thanks for a real Q

whats the meaning of kitsch?
but i think that, christmas is so funny, something is change but people are so far from this fact, everyday can be a christ for us.but we forget it.time is all secret.we live in time, and something is old & some is new.this is my idea that find a real & great love can be top aim of life for everybody.loneless is darkness.in new year keep your love and if have not, find one.

I really think that the majority of people are missing the point of Christmas. Just look at the smile on the retailers faces.

Yes, but that is natural it has always been like that even when Jesus was a young man. Going into the temple and seeing people profit from religious festivities.

Xmas is way to commercialised.

I don't remember getting $1000's being spent on me when I was a kid.

I refuse to conform to the Xmas stupidity.

As long as its meaning is clear to you, I think you'll be ok.
