Thumper is named that because when he is standing still, his right foot is always thumping the ground, I guess it is either his nerves are shot or he is so excited.

Well , his nik name used to be The Humper, because he was mainly working in the porno industry, going around and humping everything, then when he landed the role in the childrens movie they shortend it to thumper for obvious reasons.
