God is wll aware that He/She/ That is God, and acts so: with comlplete liberty. Ignorant people are what they are, and often act so, sometimes in public places, amoungst their kin and friends. Smart people are what they are, sometimes have a sense of it, and sometimes act so in public, amoungst their kin and friends. Which of us is to be held criminal ........ I mean, is to vaunt intelligence any more a crime than vaunting, say, basketball skill in a public court ? Who am I murdering by knowing a few things, and eagerly, with every friendly intention including allowing me to be me, sharing ?My father was delighted with my intelligence, encouraged and joyed in it; then, I go in to the world doing what I think people are expected and encouraged to do, and get shot for it, on purpose, by people's mouths and faces.Ugly, I say--not guilty. My momma loves me like a rock.

Didn't quite understand what you are trying to say. Sounds like you think that we are either all free or all not free. I think you are always somewhere in between. Moreover, our country does not guarantee that we will have absolute freedom. Our country guarantees are "political" freedom, in a sense that we are ultimately governed by the people and not by a king or a discator. Any one of us can ultimately move up to be President (at least theoretically). We can all vote, etc. And we cannot be jailed for what we say politically.

But that doesn't mean that we can do whatever we want. That doesn't mean we can commit murder or some other crime without punishment. Life is still full of choices. If we make a choice, we have to suffer the consequences. If you cheat on your wife, your wife may leave you. If you eat too much junk food, you get fat. If you lie about someone's actions, you can be liable for defamation of character. If you get drunk at the office Christmas party, this could impact your reputation at work. If you talk about politics to the wrong person, this could impact whether they like you or not. You are your actions and everyone else will judge you to some extent based on your actions. You cannot do anything about the opinions of some, but, if you anger more people than you should, you may end up with a reputation you don't want and the life you don't want.

You are free to a point and politically free to vote for whoever you want. Just remember that there is a reason that voting is anonymous.

All those who claim freedom without exercising self restraint to uphold the rights of others are criminals.
But with Human Rights activists F****ing up all arguments to favor humane treatment of the guilty the criminals are having the upper hand and the innocent sufferer suffers.
