My husband is sterile and I am forced to use a sperm donor. Should I use different people for my next babies or stick with the same donor. I am caucasian and would enjoy many multiracial children. The first donor is asian. My husband is Somoan.

Well, if you use a bunch of different ones, it will be a gamble what your baby will look like, and that could be fun.

i am a direct result of annon sperm donation. for the sake of your children, i urge you to use the same donor. one thing that torments me is not having a full blood sibling to know that they share the same biology.
just remember that one day they will grow up into adults and wonder why they dont look alike and like their dad.

please dont misinterpret what i say, but as fun as it may be to plan a multiracial family, babies dont stay babies.

good luck in your decision

I would imagine, you may want to stick to donors who are most like your husband, if that matters to you. It would probably be in your best interest honestly to use only one donor, if you have multiple children they will all truly be biological siblings, and if any problems arise in terms of family illness, that might make things easier. Good luck.

I suppose that would be your choice.

My choice would be to continue to use the same donor as the children would be genetically similar.

But do what you feel best.
