Hi there i had same prob all week and it seems to have been cutting out just after start.. i took the plugs out and found lots of oil on them so i took the rocker cover of to find the internal gasket had gone cost me 14 quid and has sorted it out... but now i have discoverd that there is more than one gasket at the top and will advise you do both as i have to do mine again now....replacing both good luck..... am just looking for a engine breakdown diagram now....

Sounds like your engines burning oil. hence why engine management is cutting your car out. Trying to save you breaking the engine. Get it down a garage before you do irreperable damage.

Have you checked the oil level? Sounds like piston rings or valve stem oil seals.

We had a similar problem with my g/fs VW Golf, we were told it'd cost us a new engine or a rebuild as it turned out I spent five pound eighty on two new oil pressure sensors and that solved the problem. The runs sweet as a nut now.

Hi
YEp your engine management system seems like it needs a check - you will have to go to an overpriced dealer to have him plug you into his system - that shoeld tell you whats wrong.
