I like the idea of doing a list, but why not offer your services to local charities and let your friends and family decide which they like; for example 2 hours helping out at the local homeless hostel, or donate all my old clothes to a charity of your choice. When you've done this, tell the person who chose it all about your experience. You never know, they then might want to do it too!

Partner first: I bet anything will be fine with him or her.
Family... Put in a note or card how much you love them, and say "This entitles you to one special hug and the promise of a special favour when you most need it."
I hope this helps...
For but a little while longer this year....
A Merrily joyous, wickedly happy Christmas to everyone who celebrates!
Best wishes from

Perhaps a simple telephone would be nice. Or a visit to the more elderly. Partner's present? Tell him / her you love them. Cost nothing but comes from the heart.

This might sound silly but here it goes.....Make "coupons" that offer free services to each family member.....For kids maybe a coupon for "one free get out of cleaning room for a week" coupon, or one free "get out of cutting the grass" coupon, or "get out of doing dishes" coupon. And family members " one night free babysitting coupon with no time limit" coupon. Think of things that you can DO for family that they might enjoy but might not usually ask and make offer to do them coupons. You can make them using the computer or using construction paper etc. Staple them together so they can tear them out when needed. I dont know. It sounds silly when I say it out loud, but this is free for you and a nice thing for them to redeem when they need it.

Its a bit late now! If you don't have a lot of money, find something that a group of each can enjoy. Hope this helps.
