First of all please learn how to spell. Secondly if you are in aposition to get an abortion you first should ask youself why you are there. More than likely you didn't use protection. It takes 2 to tango and I think if you got pregnant then you should keep it instead of getting an abortion. My cousin had an abortion and is lucky to have my cousin, she was pregnant with her a couple of months after her abortion. She had major scarring and was never able to have any other children. Secondly it cause emotional problems. I know of at least three people that told me they felt the most horrible guilt and still feel it from their abortions. As for Rape or incest, these are very rare cases, and it is not the childs fault that they got here because some one was selfish. IPam Stenzel has an amazing story. She starts out by saying that there was a girl who was raped when she was 15 years old and that girl became pregnant. She chose to give birth to the child then gave her up for adoption, that baby was Pam Stenzel. Abortion kills and I do not condone it. However people are human and no sin is greater than another. But that really is no excuse. Abortion is not birth control, put a sock on and pop a pill. Lastly I would be more worried about STD's than getting pregnant these days. Even with a condom HPV can still be spread, and the vaccine only prevents 4 strains there are over 100. take your chances if you want it is "your body" but I don't know who will want it once they find out that it is diseased.

I am Pro-Life with limitations. I believe that in the event that the mother's & child's life are in danger, (keeping in mind there is ALWAYS risk with pregnancy even with "advanced technology") or in the case of a 12 yr old rape victim and/or incest that if deemed neccessary that it should happen. Now I, think it is absoultly sickening that people, use abortion or the abortion pill (which is now under law-suits for possibly causing deaths, blood clots, etc) for birth control on a regular basis. People with the mindset "I had willingly had unprotected sex and now I don't want to deal with the consequences, even if it means taking a life." I am not going to tell others what to do ex: "Your evil if you have an abortion." My philopshy is not religious based just morally based. If someone has an abortion, it's their choice true, BUT I don't understand how someone could willingly choose to end a life that hasn't had a chance to live because they didn't want to be responsible and deal with the consquences of their actions. I couldn't live with myself. What I ask to pro-lifers is, when is something "alive", when it's out of the womb. Or when it can breathe or see or move or feel or when it's heart beats (all while in the mother's womb), or when it can cry it's little helpless tiny cry? I was a "unexpected surpise" when she found out when I was 6 months along, my mother didn't think she could have anymore since she had a miscarriage and was going through early menopause and she is pro-choice but she never considered aborting me even though she knew she had no man, a 18yr old daughter and (at the time) a 11mon old grandchild to take care of. I grew up loved and wanted. I realize not everyone is so lucky. My mother wanted to adopt more children since I was four (1992), she had her tubes tied when I was 2 and she said she regrets it, but they told her she was "too old" to adopt, she was only 41 and in perfect health but divorced/single.
When a girl, WILLINGLY has sex I do expect her to own up to her actions. Their are many people, myself included who want children but for various reasons can't have them. For those of you who debate that a being isn't alive intill it can be separted from their mother and surivive without aid, so premature babies (my sister included) aren't alive? A fetus can hear at 20 wks and feel pain at 28wks. Is abortion okay before then, no I don't think so. Taking a life, or what is soon to be a life is wrong, their is no way around it. I am aware some girls don't have a choice ex: their parents force them to, and if that's the case they shouldn't feel guilt. BUT girls/women who use abortion as birth control are just sick. Ex: OH NO I knowingly had unprotected sex, lets abort it so we don't have to "deal" If your that way you should just go get fixed or die.

i think that its a very personal desision.
and it also depends on the circumstances
i dont agree with using abortion as birth controll.
but if contraception has failed and the parents really really didnt want a baby then fair enough, but i think abortion should be stopped by 12 weeks, and should NOT be allowed up to the current 24 weeks that it is. thats so wrong.

I am against it. fetus is a baby is a human. It's murder. The nervous system is one of the first things to develop, so what do you think? Do you think that innocent helpless human being can feel pain and fear?
Women should have to watch a video of exactly what abortion does to a fetus before going through with the procedure...
I'd like to know how they'd feel about being wide awake and having their limbs ripped off their body, their head shattered with a pair of pliers and then being disposed of in the trash...

I feel that abortions are so unnessicary, because there are so many loving families out there that cant have a baby that would dearly love one. Adoption is the most selfless act somebody can make. Another thing that is totally wrong in my opinion is all the babies that are being abandoned in bathrooms, trash cans, and anywhere else. Most states have a program that allows women to leave a newborn at a hospital, fire dept. or police dept. with out consequences. It is a very safe alternative to abandoning a baby, and something horrible happening.

you know what...the government shouldn't decide what a woman does to her body. period.
with that being said, i think that the assbags that have abortions every other year need to be sterilized. adoption is ALWAYS an option. there are plenty of families that can't have children and are willing to take in kids and treat them like their own. if you don't want to risk getting pregnant, get on birth control, or DON'T HAVE SEX!

I am personally against abortion except in cases of sexual assault. (Incest, when not forced or illegal due to age, was consensual so I guess it must be lived with!) However, this is America where we celebrate freedom in every way we can. So if a woman wants to abort during early stages, it is her life and her body and her right to determine how to handle things. A medical procedure performed on one person does not infringe on anyone else's rights. Of course there is the question of when life begins. If you ask me, if the fetus is dependant on the mother--that is, it cannot survive on it's own--then...I don't know...I compare it to someone who is braindead and on life support in a hospital. Sure they are alive, but so is the bacteria in my shower (I am not saying a fetus is bacteria). Religious views cannot be forced upon someone through the law. Freedom in this case must be respected no matter how offensive to some. KKK rallies are horrible too but we respect the freedom.

This society is always moving twords ways to make it easy for people who dont want to take responsibility for their actions. Sex leads to children...plain and simple. Thankfully there are lots of ways to reduce the odds that you will get pregnant, but when it comes down to it sex leads to pregnancy. If you cannot accept that small risk that you will have a child than don't have sex. Abortion is just killing someone who will make your life difficult. There are lots of people who make my life difficult, but I cant just kill them. Unfortunately for an unborn child their parents have not had the chance to bond with them. The child has never smiled at them or told them that they love them. The child is unseen and therefore not real. If someone were to fall into a coma, but was guaranteed to come out of it in 9 months that person would be cared for. That person would be cared for even if it meant financial and emotional disaster for the caregiver. No one would ever think twice about caring for this person because they have already met them and grown to know them. If women had to look at an ultrasound of a child with a beating heart that is only 3 weeks old they might not be so quick to abort. Peoploe need to start taking responsibility for thier actions with sex and everything else. If we sont this society will just be full of people looking for an easy way out with their hands in their pockets saying "I didnt mean to".

Pro-Choice does not means Anti-Life or Pro-Abortion. It just means that we want to be able to make our own choice. Some will argue that abortion is bad, murder blah blah blah but I appreciate the fact that I can make that choice should I ever need to. It's also a choice to keep the baby or put it up for adoption. I don't want anyone telling me what I can or can't do with my body. Its my choice and I'm the one who has to live with the decisions I've made. Please stay the h♠ll out my my uterus.
