heathen women dont believe it. christian women who really go to church and want to please God, do try to submit to the husband's authority. but we're a product of our times. women are very liberated these days. plus a man has to be worthy. if he's a goof or mean, a woman won't want to be under his rule. if you have a problem with the wife, read the scriptures that tell how YOU are supposed to act towards her.

Theologically, Christians have faith that; a million) the unique manuscripts are inerrant, & 2) God has preserved each and every thing that pertains to necessary doctrine. This makes some allowances for minor copiest blunders. appropriate to the previous testomony; till we chanced on the lifeless Sea Scrolls, the earliest reproduction of the OT we had became around 900AD. The lifeless sea scrolls predate this text via over 1000 years and demonstrates overwhelming consistency with the later copies. appropriate to the recent testomony The time of the Apostles became around 40AD to 130AD. we've Bible manuscripts interior of that variety (the earliest dated to 50AD). We additionally produce different records from that element (from Christian, Non-Christian & anti-Christian components) that talk appropriate to the ideals of Christians. overall we've greater suitable than 24000 New testomony Manuscripts. So we can hint any unintended or intentional changes to the message via uncomplicated assessment. So element 2 above, that God has preserved all necessary doctrine is amply supported via the information. Now, * the reality that the Bible records the imperfection of particular human beings would not logically undermine the reliability of the Bible in any respect. * Translations at the instant are not considered to hold any weight of divine proposal. * The term "previous college" is subjective. In context, Leviticus is a factor to the covenant between Israel and God (aka the regulation). Christians relate to God below a distinctive covenant. * the only slavery expressly condoned in the Bible is voluntary, non everlasting (six 12 months max). Kidnapping is expressly forbidden. Paul's attractiveness of the regulations of his time would not equate to condoning the practice. Peter admonishes Christians to appreciate all human government (a million Peter 2:13-14). * that is not claimed that the Bible is suitable.

I have a friend who has had this particular problem with his wife. They are a Christian couple and both do their best to follow what they think the Bible tells them to do. This is the problem, it is all open to interpretation. While, yes, she wants to let him be the head of the house and leader and all that, she also knows he don't always make good decisions. He tries to make good decisions, but he is paying for what he did (and occasionally still does). They ask me what to do. I told him first that he must prove to her that he is going to do the right things. He must prove that he is going to make the right decisions before she will trust him. They are getting along better now, but still she has problems with it.
We have to learn our individual husband, it can't be just because a law or a book, even one as great as the Bible, tells us we must.

PS. Not ALL Christian women are like that.

PSS. Quit being a butt-head and asking stupid questions about putting women down.

I am a Christian who believes that women should obey their husbands. However, a good Christian husband does NOT go around randomly ordering his wife around. He treats her with respect and honors her opinions. He may have the final say-so, but a true Christian relationship is closer to a partnership than bossiness and subservience.

It also says the man is to be a servant leader, this is how they gain our trust that will do what is best for us and our children.....few men actually do that. We willfully submit to a man that takes care of us and serves us....thus we serve him...we trust in his decisions, he does not rule over us...he is to walk beside his wife and be a guide.

Women aren't dogs dumbass, and the Bible says be submissive to a husband only if they are fulfilling their husbandly duties. So if you are a male chauvinist pig who thinks his wife is property, she doesn't have to be submissive to you.
