I watched a Civil War tape series that I really enjoyed. I took notes on it and had a test on it in class. It was really fasicnating. Morgan Freeman was the speaker.
The reason why I am starting this is because I want other people view on the Civil War and a little information on it. My history professor wants me to write about the Civil War. I forget some things I wrote on my essay in High school. Any info will be great. Thanks. Maybe some extra credit too. hehe. *Friends calling again and saying I am a nerd. But.. I don't mind*

I think it's wonderful that you've found a historical subject you are so interested in. One thing you might find though is that there is sooooo much written about the Civili War (both in books and on the net) that the whole thing can bog you down after awhile. If your teacher is asking you to write more about it, maybe see if you can narrow the topic down to something easier to work with. You can pick an interesting person, battle, location, advacnement in weapons, etc, and you'll still find 1000's of sources. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
