This snob I knew in highschool sent me a text that simply said "I'm married". Knowing the kind of person she is, I thought she was bragging. I was so mad that she didn't even bother to say hello or ask how I was doing even though it was a couple months since we talked.
So I texted back "Good for you. I hope marriage will make you a humble person." I was trying to let her know that I think she is full of herself. Now I regret it even responding to her cause I worry that she might think I'm jealous of her cause I'm not married.

No it was not a stupid come back. She sent you the text because she wanted attention and a reaction from you and you gave it to her. You don't have to worry about what she thinks, cause she is worrying about what you think

Do you mean, if somebody calls somebody else 'stupid', what's a reliable comeback? some people choose for to place people all the way down to sense greater useful approximately themselves. If absolutely everyone seems to be being insulting, that's oftentimes a reliable concept to maintain your dignity and till now strolling away, say something like (in a bored, no longer offended tone): 'i'm looking myself too good for this communique'.

I and many others wish we had your problem; wait til your about 60 years old with failing health. Than all you will be worried about is planning your burial, last will and testament; and, making sure those you love will be able to go on without you. After all that you can worry about heaven or hell. What do you care how she thinks about your remark - she started it with a stupid statement and you only played along. Now; go to school and tell everyone that she is married; That will get her goat, by the time its all over she will never make a statement like that again. As for you; it's not a lie because she told you she is married.. Have fun with it., make fun of it. It's her way of saying she does not want to date or have anything to do with you..

Let her think what she wants to. You dont care about that. it is not going to affect you in any way. just be cool and forget about her. it will do you good. she needs to realise her attitude. awesome reply according to me!! just sit back and enjoy your life. dont bother about her's.
