no stay wawy from the pate i too love the stuff and when i was preggie i missed it so much but it was worth waiting for

It’s okay to eat:
Meat pastes in jars
Tinned pate; pasteurised, vacuum-packed pate; UHT treated pate
Pasteurised pate in tubes (except liver pate)
There are some lovely tinned pates around - you just have to avoid liver and all fresh pate.

I think all Pate is out of the question, steer clear of it to be on the safe side, dont risk your baby just for the sake of having something nice to eat.. also ham and deli foods, eg cabonossi.

i think all pate is out of the question its only 6 more months the baby will be worth it! i reallly felt like pate on toast but i have had to stop myself! it can cause you to have listeria which can cause miscarriage and still born thats what it says in my book ! xx

You can eat vegetable pate only. There is no risk of food poisoning from that. No meat pates though, no matter how nice they may be!

why not make your own chicken liver pate, that way you will know it fresh and cooked properly,cook the livers untill not pink and you will be fine,make small amount and eat as soon as cold and dont leave to fester in the fridge

you are not allowed to eat any pate, sorry. it was my only craving in pregnancy and had for lunch for about a week after giving birth!

One vis coarser that the other. I think that maybe Ardennes Pate is the smoothest.
