it shouldn't affect anything...i had emergency surgery 5 years before i got pregnant, and i have a 12-13 inch scar vertically across my abdomen...it didn't affect the growth of my tummy or anything...in fact the dr. used the bottom half of my scar to deliver my daughter since i had to have a c-section. so you should be fine :) just ask your doc any questions when the time comes. good luck!

I have the scar and am I am 16 weeks pregnant. I've had this scar since I was 1 1/2 years old... so I know all about stretching. It IS a bit uncomfortable to me, but the round ligament pains are much worse. I am not showing enough to tell you 100% how it is going to look, but I had mine done so many years ago (18 years ago) and I was so small being only just over a year old that my scar is now almost 4 inches long. Make sure you talk to your OBGYN, in case of an emergency C Section, they need to know, because of the scar tissue that could be inside. I'm sure everything will be okay! Lol. I'm hoping so at least, since I have it too!

I had surgery done for my endometriosis when i was 19 and i was cut as far as a c-section and i still had a baby when i was 21. I became pregnant again last year but miscarried. I really don't think that would get in the way of you getting pregnant. Is your ovary still intact? Ask your doctor before getting pregnant.
Good luck

Doubt you'll have any problem. Look at how many people have C-sections and are left with scars and it doesn't affect them.

Its had plenty of time to heal I wouldnt worry about it. It will look really cool though when it stretches with your belly. Just use as much lotion as you can to prevent stretch marks and you should be good
