i am a chick but personally not into "chick flicks" so I can't give you personal input cause I haven't seen it but was told The Notebook-- Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, is definately chicky type. Some I have been force to watch (for lack of anything better to do) are:
Splendor--Kathleen Robertson, johnathon schaech, Matt Keeslar (no names really but pretty good)
Sweet November--Keanu Reeves, Charlize Theron
Serendipity--John Cusack, Kate Beckinsale
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind--Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst, Elijah Wood, Mark Ruffalo
High Fidelity--John Cusack

Heres one that not in the typical mainstream...Pyromaniacs Love Story. Its a good romance movie that doesn't make you want to run screaming out of the room

I saw "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" a couple weeks ago on USA (I think). It was pretty funny and kept my interest plus it scored major bonus points with the lady.
Or try "The American President".
