thinking possibly like new mexico, oklahoma, arkansas, louisana...that sort of trip..? please help cause we're needing answers ASAP. =)

We went to Arkansas and stayed at DeGray Lake http://www.degray.com/.
It was soooo pretty, The whole lake is on a state park so there isn't any houses or business. It's also about 30 from HotSpings. We stayed at the lodge for 70.00 a night it was beautiful. They also have camping, and cabins. They do boat rentals, horse back riding and bikes, ect. There are beaches there too.They have a lot of daily activities at the lodge too.
It took us about 4 hours from Ft. Worth. It was awesome and we didn't think it would be. HAVE FUN.

Depending on how many hours you want to drive or where in Texas you are, come to Kansas City! We have a decent night life and from here you can swing around to St. Louis, which is an amazing city.
No matter what states you visit, being on the road is the most incredible part!
