women's studies classes at the universities, the main library, coffee shops. the little movie place on Bank street(mayfair?). Sorry, I haven't lived there for 6 years, I can't remember where my sis used to hang out.

Atlanta is a huge city, there must be at least one LGBT center. Check them out. Most have chat groups and "hobby" groups and many other non-bar ways to meet new friends.
