A few months ago before Death note anime released, i would say Bleach is the best anime. Now Bleach rank the second because i couldn't believe that Death note released their anime and what you suspect of the anime after death note score the no.1 manga in Japan.

I quite like Escaflowne.
Fruits Basket was really good as well.. but it only covers a tiny bit of the manga which is disappointing.
I really like Trigun as well.
Hellsing too lol.
