How to receive the information from modem to s\w?

i doing a project for the vbdotnet.
the Interactive voice responcing system,
this project mostly used the telephone connection and voice modem,
so the user selection numbers to receive to my s\w, and respone their request.

just like as the customer care.

These types of application already exists (they cost big $$$$)

You can program your own, but to be honest I think you will need to hire a professional software engineer.

Anyway, if you want to discover what's involved, contact the Modem manufacturer & ask for their SDK (Software Developers Kit) - you could also ask them to recommend a good 'voice recognition' Library.
