it's great and it allows time away from the home and children and gives you time to have a piece of mind..plus it allows you to be a pround woman with your own money just in case you have to take care of yourself. and the children need time away from you too ..to make friends and to lear sosial behavior

I didn't even know people could have opinions on this. Mothers can make their own decisions on whether they want to be stay at home moms or have a job outside their home. As long as their families are well taken care of, and they their share around the house and spend time with them, then who is anybody to say that they can or can't? That's my opinion.

it sucks. i think it would be best for the children to have the constant support of a parent available all the time. however, with the financial pressures today its rare that you see a home mom. i think after teh first 5 years or so its good for a mother to work for her own enjoyment maybe part itme. this goes both ways too. the father could be the one staying with the child in the early development

It`s rather common these days, especially in Western culture.
Are you a Muslim lady or something?
Were you referring to single or married mothers by the way?
Either way, everybody has got to earn a crust unless you are the heir of the Hilton empire or something...
Take it easy & don`t let it bother you or consume you with anxiety and worry!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

It is very important for the woman to have her own income, life has changed, women work and depend on themselves.
But if she was a mom, it is very important to find time for her kids, it is not fair to have kids and leave them all day.

Sure it is fine. For me when I finally have children I want to be a stay at home mom. We'll see, it might drive me nuts.

i think that if a career is what you want or circumstances dictate that you need to work outside the home, so be it. everyone has different needs and/or responsibilities.
