Breaking the will of tribes to mold it into the betterment of the collective is generally the right unifying solution given the immediacy of an emergency.

- Say, thinking the "right way" as prescribed by an authority is the one and only right way. Perhaps all religion is wrong, secular society with science is the only way.
- Immediacy could mean a span of now to say, fifty years.

Choice of context (geographical, political, social boundaries) and issue of contention for illustration at your discretion.
(Religion as an example above is not mandatory, perhaps no smoking policy or suing for defamation.)

Kindly phrase theories in the positive, as opposed to what is not correct.

Observation

Spending many years travelling to visit philosophers of old, a man chanced upon a sage who proposed that he should find a place to settle down and teach, which prompted the question "Where is my abiding place ?"

The sage retorted in smugness,"What ? You don't even realise that the True Man is his own abiding place?"

To which the simple dressed man replied,"For thirty years, I have roamed freely on horseback. Today, for the first time, I am kicked by as ***!"

The first person to decipher this, may so call this question as they please.

What is obvious from the series of eight questions, is that free will, impluse, thought and wisdom do not go hand in hand.

Emergency seems to be the rallying call of all who wish to take what is not rightfully theirs , userly in the name of betterment for man so they can cover the guilt of there greed , and the subjective race are then shuffled out of sight so that the society
that has benifited from there own behaviour does not have to face what it has done in the betterment and advancement of themselves . The guilty society than has to destroy the beleifs or religion of the subjective race and plant its own beliefs to justify its actions and pat itself on the back for enlightening them , it can then sit back smug in its own benevolence and justify its actions to itself .

One of the great advances of civilisation was the written law. Prior, the strong and or wealthy could manipulate tradition to serve their own interests. "All animals are equal," to "All... equal, but some are more equal than others."

A century ago many in the US sought to get beyond tribalism. The struggle against hyphenates, Irish-Americans, German-Americans, etc. with the goal of assimilation. This trend culminated with the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 guaranteeing equal rights to all citizens.

Alas, bureaucrats in the EEOC decided to grant special rights and privileges to the majority while denying basic rights to white men. The tribe became The Thing.

Now to get a piece of the gambling pie, some Americans search for an Amerindian ancestor; some whites search for a Black grandmother so as to become Boston firefighters (if considered white they would have failed the tests), and ever more privileges are granted upon your tribal status. It is a sad day for America that this approach was upheld by the US Supreme Court in 2003 in the Michigan AA case.

If tribalism is to be our future, the Mormons should be able to reinstitute polygamy. Indeed, some African immigrants to France bring their many wives with them today. Some immigrants should be allowed to have child marriage, and the stoning of adulterating wives. Heretics can be burnt again. So can homosexuals. Dueling can replace tennis. And groups can lynch those of other tribes who chance into the wrong neighborhood.

Tribalism may always exist, but it should be harnessed beneath the general written law. Three cheers for the US Constitution!

you have created a language barrier by not being plain and Taking you're wording straight, or so it seems, out of a college textbook.

That being said, Sounds right to me. It's happened over and Over again, and Most societies have taken part in doing exactly what you've said there, I.E. Breaking the will of the subject peoples, Like Christian missionaries in the americas In the 15th and 16th centuries.

Not going to give you much here tho, Cause It sounds Like you're trying to get Us to do your Homework for you.

Enjoy, and Merry Christmas.

Breaking the will of the people has NEVER unified. Read your history, Pax. (Or is this a misnomer?!!?!?!) There is room for science AND religion. We're quite capable beings, if, being left "unbroken" we're given the chance...
