you ovulate approximately 2 weeks after the start of your last period. you are fertile for 3 or4 days either side of that day, so be sure to use a condom if you don't want to get pregnant. However, if you are on the pill, you will ovulate usually the second day after you take the last pill, while having your period.

Females are born with a fixed amount of eggs one of which is usually released once a month. There are circumstances where this is not so for example tribes who still lead a primitive life. If nature decides there is no place for another mouth to feed, such as in a drought, the ovulation may not occur.

Ovulation is a part of ur hormonal cycle when ur ovaries produce one egg a month,and this egg is supposed to be fertilized with the sperm,if not u menstruate.....

judy r8 has everyting right UNTIL she says you ovulate after stopping the pill. If you are on the pill you DO NOT ovulate..

um its hard to understand it at first, but first u get cramps then..ur egg flushes out with (the blood) and thats basically it, but when if your pregnant sometimes u dont bleed and it mixes with the sperm and makes a baby. thats what i know.
