Why are illegal immigrants singled out as being a drain on society when there are so many others?

Becuse they are breaking the law by being here. The word "illegal" means that. Obviously, we cannot deport American citizens, however much they may be a drain on society.

For some reason Americans choose to see the "crime" of crossing a line in the sand to find a better life as greater than the crime of sitting at home drawing welfare because of sheer laziness. And don't say nobody does that because they do. I'm not oblivious to that society. Americans have every advantage in the world handed them by virtue of the fact that they were born here yet many choose to sit home and let hardworking taxpayers support them while they keep having baby after baby yet they are among the very ones screaming for all the hard working "illegals" to go home. I would much rather my tax dollar go to school the child of a job-holding illegal immigrant than a welfare-drawing American citizen any day. We are a nation of immigrants. The Whites like to conveniently "forget" that. This new wave of immigrants are at least decent enough to not round us up like cattle and herd us down a trail of tears to designated reservations to live like our own ancestors did to the REAL natives of this country. because we as a society are racist and love to blame others especially if they are a different ethnic background from the majority of people here. We as a society are so lazy and enamored with greed that we will not do the jobs that they do so they are imported, abused and cheated and then made into the bad guys because we are too lazy and too corrupted to do our own dirty work. We have wanted slaves from the beginning... first we tried the Indians then African Americans and chinese, then any nationality that was desperate for work and would allow themselves to be abused and cheated and overworked and risk deportation because they were desperate to support their families so for everyone who wants to deport these people how many berries or apples are you going to pick at their wages so I get them in my fridge for a price that I am willing to pay ..... don't set around on you Little thrones and whine about them when you are the cause of it all in the first place. What the First answer said and what that also means is that most illegal immigrants that come here don't have much of a education not producing much for the economy. So they are pretty much people just sitting there making a need to create more jobs for people without a education. The U.S slowly is becoming a stupider country. Everyone was aware illegal immigrants were here and accepted it. Only when did they decide to flaunt it and demand rights they didn't earn and treated this country with disrespect were they singled out.

UNFORTUNATELY co-dependence is as equally prevalent as co-creativity and/ or, anything. Co-dependent people 'scapegaot' everybody, but don't want THEMSELVES pidgeon- hold, or imprisoned in their own bad ideas and nasty description of the general public, even if what you're doing is minding your own business, quietly taking care of your wants and needs in a quiet and harmless way , acknowledging that everybody wants to 'get away' with just getting by, and just getting haoppilky (funny oops) ...by... bye, good luck wiyh the myopic folks. Most people advise giving them as little attention as possible; I do find them 'attention- starved', and that they LATCH ON to any response, wasting inordinate amounts of time, explaining myself, complaining, showing resistance.... and nothing gets thru their skuls. Death skulls ,negativity, repetitivnessses and blatant denial BORE me; I don't know about you...I'm more into 'cute', and they lack it, most often,.....unless they are putting on a 'show' which they do, of mimicking me & my type... they must at least PRETEND to have some class, and some civilized standard like those of us who intend to, and do, benefit the species and love life, truely, and even feel comfortable on this planet of astounding, magnificent beauties galore... I don't know what people complain about, and, i have found, i don't need to ask about it. I, my self, am busy investigating billions of new ways to have fun.

Maybe they are singled out because they are breaking the law just by being here and many don't speak our language and show no allegiance to our country and yet they suck benefits from our tax base, which essentially is money you and I earned that was taken by force. We have to start somewhere.....if we're going to ask where the drain on our society is let's start by asking who DOESN'T deserve it!
Our society DOES deserve to know who and what is draining our tax dollars.Let's eliminate illegals ....then we can concentrate on putting our domestic slackers to work!
