Every Canadian I have ever known or spoken to that has spelled something with it (I am tech support, that's a LOT of spelling) says Zed. I think there is a comics tirade about it being Zed not Zee too...

I am a Canadian and I almost always use Zed. I sometimes use Zee if I am talking about something like Dragon Ball Z.

I also prefer to spell color <--- this way. Because the other way sucks.

When we are repeating the alphabet we say Zed, however when we speak to Americans, we always go along with what they are familiar with so Zee is ready on our tongues.

They say Zee because they're Canadians. It's the law, eh.

Its because "zed" is British, and its one of the things that we Commonwealth countries still have from our British forefathers.
