O.k., here's the deal, I want to be struck by lightening to experience the thrill of it......Are there any laws that would try to stop me from doing this???

Umm, general law of All Living Creatures - you don't wanna die? But if you decided to go ahead - make sure you don't damage your neighbor's property in the process, or you (or whatever is left of you) are in trouble.

General society tries to stop people from harming them self's.

They wouldn't necessarily arrest you but they may take you for observation.

Just forget about it, it's a bad idea. There is no way that you can be sure that it will only be a little shock.

I don’t think that there are any laws against this type of thing. But I do know a few psychologist that might want to check you out a bit.

If you do it intentionally you might be charged with attempted homoside which in this case would be attempted suicide.
