Even my brother is always saying: "Ew, she's too skinny." Also, I have noticed that girls who are probably like a size 12 get more attention from men in the streets than say, a size 2 or 4.
So, what is media portraying here and do men honestly like a size 2? I honestly think that the perfect shape is women who have the body of the younger Elizabeth Taylor or Marilyn Monroe, with a little belly. I have the same shape, but why does the media portray us (or women that are this size) fat? Is it more desirable?
I just want this from a man's point of view instead of fashion designers!

Oh, do not worry. I am perfectly fine with the way I look. I am just bored on a Saturday afternoon!

I think it's because the fashion industry is run by homosexual men, who like women to look like 13 year old boys with boobs (small ones, of course). Personally I like women as you described them: the Marilyn/Elizabeth look. Maybe even a little plumper, what the Yiddish would call "Zaftig." Size 2 women look like they just walked out of a concentration camp. Needless to say, that imagery has also contributed to the rise of disorders like anorexia and bulimia.

I even don't have any clue what a lady is declaring at the same time as she says she wears a length 6 or 8 (even if). She acts like I might want to understand at the same time as maximum adult males do not understand. A length 8 may actual be a length 10 or 6 with a diverse gown employer and then do not get me began on that dumb theory of conceitedness sizing. All that does is enable women human beings to fool themselves wondering they now in fantastic condition right into a length 8 at the same time as that is a length 12

I am personally a 10-12 (depending on the day!) .. I have a small waist but large hips. I have always hated my figure, but I am beginning to notice what you are talking about. My fiance and his friends, and other guys I know, often talk about "curvy" women being more appealing.
I think thinness became the ideal look as we became a more health-conscious society in the last couple of decades; but people don't realize that you can be healthy with a little meat on your bones!
For example, It's actually more difficult for women to conceive if they are too skinny, because the female body needs to be able to protect the womb with a little cushioning.
I am pretty much disgusted by the media and their portrayal of the bony, hipless, large-chested (usually fake) figure on women. If our bodies were supposed to be shaped like that naturally, more women would look that way without having to try so hard.

The media tries to make us "fat" if we don't sport the body of a ten year old boy.
The truth is the opinions are going to vary widely because people's preferences vary widely, as they should.
I will tell you this, I've been 5'8 since high school and I've been between a size 6 and a size 16 in the last 20 years and I've never had a problem getting attention at any size.
Stop worrying about what "they" think. Weigh what's healthy for you.

Well fashion and real life have never met in the middle have they? I mean if you've ever watched a run way show there are stuff they show that nobody would ever actually wear.
I too agree that many men would prefer a woman with some meat on her bones. I mean who wants to go to bed with a skelton? I'm not trying to be offenceive to naturally thin woman either. I'm talking, starving, I can see every bone in your body, type of woman. Which you mainly see only in the media.
I thinking being healthy is what is attractive to men. Most don't want the extream thin or big they want the one who looks like she takes care of herself.

Unfortunately society is easily swayed by what is "trendy" at the time. Right now with anorexic models being refused work and celebrities like J. Lo and Beyonce with beautiful curves so popular the tide is turning toward women with more meat on their bones. That's a good thing. It's more natural.
The perfect shape and size for a woman is individual to each woman. Every body has it's own set point for height, weight and bone structure. Not all men are going to like only one type of body. To me, anyone who would disqualify a girl for a relationship because of her size is not worthy of a relationship. I, for one, would never want to be with anyone shallow enough to consider my size before deciding if I'm worthy of getting to know. A man who is worthy of you will see you for the person you are and not the body you reside in.
God bless you!

Okay...I am intensely attracted to women who look like Bette Midler, Brandy Taylor, or Sarenna Lee,, so waist size is far less of an issue than breast size and cheerful attitude. And any time I can seek ribs or the sharp edge of a hip I am completely turned off! Another big turn-off is those extremely tense neck-tendons!!!
Furthermore, ignore fashion desingers and get a tailor or make your own clothes!

Men have varying tastes, just like women. There is not one type of woman that universally appeals to all men and even if there was, it is not YOUR job as a woman to be that. It is your job to be comfortable with your body and yourself how ever you see fit, so you can grow beyond your appearance. There is nothing sexier in a woman than confidence.

I think the best weight is the one that is most healthy from a medical point of view. Because beeing healthy is more important then appealing to as many men as possible. Appealing to all men is impossible anyway.

i can not stand women that i feel like i am going to break when i hug them.
give me 5'9" and at least a 30 inch waistline.
