The Toyota Trekker is actually the Pre-4Runner that Toyota and Winnebago made before the 1984 4Runner was put into production. I have one complete but needs exterior and interior parts. Maybe you might know where I can get 1979 thru 1983 Toyota truck parts.

I can help you with what little parts and info are out there. I have 2 of these vehicals, and have done alot of reseach on them. As there were less than 1300 of them ever built with the Winnebago Trekker conversion, there is very little left in the way of original paperwork. The Toyota part of the truck is all regular 4 x 4 running gear, while the back end is from Winnebago. You may contact me through Yahoo if you like. Try the wrecking yards, a lot of the time if they don't have what you are looking for, They can hot line it for You and find the part.

Junk yards are the best place to look, they have a book that tells them if the part you're looking for will interchange with anything else.

try posting a "items wanted" add on the first link, but also try the second, depending on where you are at, if you have not already tried your local junkyards. If that failt try the third.
