Well it depends on your budget and how many people you are having. If its a big amount of people and you have a lot of money to spend I would rent a room in a restaurant like the Olive Garden (I know you can do that) or some of your favorite restaurants. It may be easier because all the food, utensils, tablecloths, decorations are pretty much given to you by the restaurant. It might cost more money but it may be easier on you.

If its a smaller party, Id just have a get-together at your house and have some of your favorite activities that you do with your friends. I threw my friend a small get together party last weekend and we ended up playing poker and he said he had a great time.

Save the money and invest it reasonably. You will then have a huge sum to spend on your 100th birthday party!
