We dream every night, five to seven times a night, even though we remember very few. Our dreams are about our current life issues and offer insights into solving problems or seeing things differently. Sometimes a dream will have some correspondence with a future event and this triggers to memory of the dream. It doesn't mean we foretold the future. Dreams are metaphors, so assuming they will be literally true can be upsetting as well as incorrect. If we dream that someone dies, it doesn't mean they're going to die -- at least not so soon, unless they're already ill and we expect it.
Sometimes we "know" what's going to happen because it's simply logical and our dreams (unconscious minds) prepare us for those events. It's not prophecy.

You are the final authority on what your dream means.

Yes I have had several dreams (normal life experiences) come true later in the future. Usually about two or three years from the dream. Sometimes they are very very detailed. Several circumstances all aligning just like in my dream/dreams. Very very strange. I really don't get it or know how this happens, but, it certainly does happen. At least to me. Hope I can start flying soon, hope those flying dreams come true. LOL

yes. It's entirely possible. Make sure to remember your dream, so that you can use it as a reference in the future. It'll help :) But you'll see that it'll be kind of funny how things happen after you dream about it.

Dreams are a part of our brains firing off imagines and sounds to make us reference other parts of our brains to induce our memories. I believe that seeing into the future would be possible in daytime dreaming. Kind of like the Da va ju effect in day to day lives.

Yes, you can. Write them down and see when/if they come true!
