Really, i want to know the answer of this question. True answer by a girl. I can think of 3 possible reasons:
1) Relating to period flow
2) They look classy and smart when they cross their legs
3) To show off their thighs/skin (If in skirt) or even in some cases butt
Let me know the real reason !

It is just a natural thing girls do. As I grew up I watched my mom do it all the time. It is a natural posture. Your second possiblity is a good reason too. ;-)

Well, I don`t cross my legs because it`s uncomfortable for me - LOL, but I would guess because it`s "lady like" and makes them look classy, and possibly even to appear 'sexier'.

If you're wearing a skirt and you sit with your legs open, well umm you do the math, smart one. It also adds a bit of class. More professional. I always sit like that. And I'm a girl. It has absolutely nothing to do with our periods. Duh.

Well, you really shouldn't do it even if it is attractive cause it gives you varicorse vains which aren't very attractive.

They just see it done growing up and it just becomes second nature.We don't think when we do it...we just do.
