The current German government didn't do any of these crimes. The German government that did these crimes was destroyed by the Allies, back when good guys were allowed to stop bad guys.
It is wrong to blame Italy for the excesses of the Roman Empire.

Yes - I have a friend who was a twin - her sister was killed by Mengele and she was mistreated as well. The German government gave reparations (money - not very much though) and an apology.

What happend was very sad and unfortunate however the people in gov't today did nothing to these people and should not need to apoligize for things they did not have a hand in.
