Interesting question. I wonder if they wonder in Bagdad; if all the Republicans are Christian and all the Dems are..........non?
Me, I find it deeply unChristian to send good young people into an endless war on a dubious mission with flawed intel.
Christian is how Christian does.
How many Americans know the difference between the Suni and Shia?............Anyone? Guess what..........thousands of American's are dead smack in the middle of a war between these two, and Joe Average hasn't a freeking clue.
We can educate ourselves and stop voting for they ones our news channel of choice is hawking. Understand what is at stake and take responsibility for keeping informed and voting accordingly. Yeah, it is a little boring at first. Soon you learn how to dig for info and then it is fun.
And when you have an informed strong opinion, send it out you can reach your representatives online. Gongress.org .
Take over the World is overstating it, if they could (and perhaps they still can) they wish to control what is left of fossil fuel in the World. And make monster profit from both petrochemicals but also War related industry.
Please do look at the sheer # of monster budget, no Bid contracts under Bush's Watch. Is the Shrub a Christian? I have no idea, the word had begun to loose meaning since the Neocons clomped into town.
No doubt in my mind, the decider is dedicated, and gifted Divider. ( Rove probably controls W's teleprompter.)
As to what "they say", I don't know who "they" are or their source, but "they" may be wrong about the muslim presensce
however; Muslims live in peace all over the world. It is wrong to blame a Faith for it's most perverted followers. Look at the Whole picture when it comes to Faith and Ethnicity.

The super-conservative right would like nothing more than to have the whole world believe what it believes, but it wouldn't go so far as to take the world by force to do it. America as a country seems to feel like it needs to police the world, and thus why we have bases in many countries. It isn't the Republicans fault, but that doesn't mean that they don't try to convert people to their cause.

First, I think you need to recheck exactly where the Muslims are. They are not peacefully staying in Muslim countries as you seem to lead people to believe.
Second, I can't recall the last time a republicans/christian (lol) stated publicly that their reason for living is to kill everyone who doesn't believe the way they do. Radical Islam on the other hand...
I also haven't read any news stories about republicans/Christians beheading people, have you?
And finally, republicans/Christians? What rock do you live under? Are you saying only republicans are Christians? Since there are approximately 80% Christians in America, are you saying they are all republicans. Then the democrats are in deep sh*t, wouldn't you say?

I think the Christians and the Muslims are out for the same ends, but each want to be the one in power when they get the world to that end.
you can cry all you like about Christians don't behead, but we have seen plenty of them car bombing building in Oklahoma city, and sniping at abortion clinics, and beating their children to death because Jesus told them to, etc etc

Some of them do, and they have made no secret about it. Just do some Googling with words like "religious right agenda" and see what pops up.
Try these following web pages for starters:

Christians aren't blowing up buildings and beheading people in the name of God unless people don't convert. Islam is threatening to take over the world (its even the fastest growing religion), not Christianity
