Do you feel pity for those who are homeless, or sad for those in darfur? Why do you feel this way? Why express emotion on something that doesn't affect the way you live?

well there are many sides to these questions. I reufse to give money to an African fund due to the fact that the African government is Sooooooooooooooo corrupt that most of those people dont see what is given most of the time. I feel bad for children who have aids but not the adults, the have sex like its nothing and KNOW aids is there.

As far as the homeless, I do feel bad to an extent but does anyone feel bad for me and my family that our insurance is going up almost 50.00 a month cause of costs of healthcare that is given to illegals and the poor? Does anyone feel bad that the state is going to deny my son his occupational therapy he needs for his autism?

Yes I am blessed mor than these people you speak of but understand most of us live pay check to paycheck and we won't be far from their situation if we lost our jobs.

Of course i feel pity for those who are homeless and in poverty. I believe you are a blessed person to have a home, 3 meals everyday, a car, work, family, friends and on and on and on. I believe a person should count his blessings. If you take it for granted you need God to change your heart. It doesnt affect the way you live. But when you have a hot meal and a warm house you can live in and you know there is an old man out your door who has nothing in the cold........ wont you feel compassionate and help him. If you don't you really need a touch of God to change your heart. It could have been you or me out there if not for God's grace.

Yes I feel pity, sadness, anger, rage, empathy, a whole gammit of emotions...I feel this way because I am a member of the human race...It doesn't matter that it's not me, it's another human being suffering. You never know, one day it could be you....

It was one cold winter night when i seen a home less man having trouble pushing all he owned in a shopping cart, i new i couldn't help him get his life the way it should be , but at that moment i could make it a little better, so i bought him a meal and a hot drink of coffee, when i asked him over to come and get it, he was scared of me . until i show him the food, then he came over and gently took it and said god bless you, i never felt the way i did. it felt wonderful....now i try and help as much as i can.

Every human should have the right to live in a safe, secure, environment. It is sad so many people do not have that.

It makes me appreciate my humble little house .

I think the only reason I pity them is whenever I look at them, I can't help thinking what if someone I know, or maybe me myself, were at their place.

Even if it doesn't affect me directly, I feel for them because it's not a nice feeling to see people suffering. I wonder why it's them and not me...

i kind of feel sorry for the homeless because duh it peaks for themselves and i try to imagine my self being homeless and i would commit suicide before that ever happened.... but i kind of dont feel sorry for them because most of them did it to themselves by either gambling it away, cheathing on their spouse and getting kicked out of the house or some stuff like that...but i definetly am not a hard *** and saying that they deserved it because we all have our bad luck at times. like my mom was diagnose and then misdiagnosed with lukemia because of her vicodin and alcohol abuse and then she had a stomach ulcer......etc there becasue it is too damn long but my point is is that some stuff is self inflicted. so there. did i answer ur question yet?????
