Of course Iraqi war was based on lies. Bush & Company had to lie. What do you expect them to say? "my fellow Americans...I am going to invade Iraq because we want to change Saddam's Regime. Saddam has been a rebel and he won't cooperate with the USA. We need his oil to make America richer and to keep it as the super power. We do not want Russia, China or the European Union to control Iraqi Oil". Well, perhaps it is for USA benefit to invade Iraq and to install a pupet Iraqi government and perhaps we have the right to do so since we are bullies and like to boss weaker nations around. But we do not have the right to kill innocent Iraqi civilians and to create a mess all over the world. Our government has no right according to our constitution to attack other country unless we are attacked by that country. Saddam was never a threat to the USA or other nations, except to Israel and Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The middle East was much better off when Saddam was in charge. He kept the Mid East in balance and did not allow the terrorists to breed and get stronger in Iraq as we are doing now. Our government has no right to send our kids to their death row in Iraq. Our government has no right to punish us as Americans by paying the hefty price from underestimating and mis-managing the Iraqi invasion. Screw Saddam and I hope he dies soon, but the truth must prevail and the Iraqi "Bull Crap" must be stopped.

No, not lies but bad intelligence. The reason we went there was partly based on this intelligence and party based on the fact the Saddam violated countless treaties and U.N. resolutions that he himself agreed to following Iraq I. The war is just and necessary. I would prefer to fight this war on Muslim soil instead of American soil. This is a hard fact to grasp, but many in life are.
When two people are walking in opposite directions and meet face to face who has the right to keep walking that line and who has to move out of the way? My only conclusion to that question so far is might makes right, and that is for multiple reasons and for another discussion.

Yes, in my opinion we did not know the whole story and we jumped into a crisis without thinking and now we are striking. We have to evaluate our War plan and come up with the right stuff.

Yes of course, but so is everything else the government does. We'll never hear the whole story about anything that goes on! How are we supposed to be educated enough to vote if we are kept in the dark about things? (such as, what proof they have against suspected terrorists, terror plots they have supposedly foiled, what's really going on in Iraq, how many civillians are killed, etc.)

No. Our problems are due to dithering and incompetence. We LET the WMD's escape to Lebanon. And turning Iraq's rebuilding into a political plumb for idiots who had no clue how to help the Iraqis SURE didn't help matters.

Yes. Obviously. All the lies were exposed on an episode of FRONTLINE on PBS. You can probably purchase the DVD from them. I believe it is called: Rumsfeld War. Good Luck! :) www.pbs.org
