(Verse 1)
When I look at you,
I realize I want to speak,
But when I try to want you,
I realize I want to say what I think,
Then I try and fail and nothing works,
And then I try to talk with you

(Chorus)
But you realize no words will come,
And no one can change what I feel,
But you know no things will happen,
And nothing can change my mind,
But then I try,
Try and fail,
And words spill out when you’re gone,
But you know no words will come,
When I’m with you

(Verse2)
When I think of you,
I realize I want to be,
The only one you see,
I realize I want to be next to you,
But then I try to speak and nothing sticks,
It’s as if my mind is blank

(Repeat chorus)

(Bridge)
But you realize when I’m with you,
That’s when I wanna be in love,
But I will find a perfect way to say “I love you”,
But then I try,
Try and fail,
And words spill out when you’re gone,
But you know no words will come,
Hey, yeah! Oh!

(Repeat chorus 3x’s)

(Ending)
But you know no words will come when I’m with you,
Oh yeah, when I’m…with…you

First protect your investment. Don't show your stuff to the public without a copyright. Some one may steal it. Just aim at being a singer, being a famous singer doesn't happen for most. That is not to say you can't become famous. A good place to start is by taking singing lessons. Most pop singers have voice coaches. Make a demo of yourself. Take it to people in your area who know music and the music biz. Get local bands to let you sing one song with them. Get constructive criticism from people you trust. Learn to sing more than one style. Don't deceive yourself if you can't sing it's not your fault. As far as writing goes, take a class in poetry to develop your skills. A class in song structure will help also. Good Luck! If you got it don't give up.

Ok i write lyrics & one day i hope to be a bassist in a band that may become famous cuz i luv music & let me say that you write some good ok lyrics. but if you don't want people to even have a chance of stealing them then get them off here like even delte this question if you have to cuz i have read questions on here asking people how their poem sounds & then i read another question that has that exact same poem its like people don't care they will take your stuff no matter what so if i were you i would keep my lyrics to myself or whatever lol. but as for becoming a famous singer/songwriter... all i can say is try get in a band if you would like, like if there are any bands looking for a singer/songwriter. then there that might work. just try to get heard by people who can make your dream come true. u know? i really tried to help you im sorry if its not a perfect answer all i can say is if this is something you really want don't give up on it then. don't let this dream just pass you by like some people do. thats what im doing im going to do everything i can possibly do just to make my dream of being a bassist/lyricsist in a band come true! & practice so that your really awesome too lol practice never hurts lol. Happy Holidays & Good Luck never give up!♥ oh sorry this is long but here if you sing then try and make your self an artist file on purevolume. put your songs on there & maybe someone will come along and can get you signed to a company you know!? its a great site! http://www.purevolume.com/

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/VlXGK

Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.

Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

These days you can easily learn how to sing on the web . You can find here the best online singing video lessons:

http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=541

The videos are very easy to follow and to my surprise extremely helpful even for advanced singers. For beginners I would have to say this is a gold mine. I was able to improve my singing, voice tone and range in just under two weeks and I am an advanced musician... Before I wanted to go to a singing teacher but that would have cost me over 1500 bucks .... every month! It's definitely too much for my possibilities! An online course is much cheaper, and I reached great results in a very short time! I strogly reccomend it to anyone that want to improve his/her singing skills and voice tune! I Hope it helps!

Sing at clubs and joints. Post up fliers in local stores and stuff and even contact an agent to come up with some other ways.

J. R. is right someone might steal your song. My oppinion, you ahve a good start. I personally would learn to play an instrument. There is several different programs that youcan make your own music bit by bit. I use the software called Kristal. You can find on the www, just type in keyword Kristal. Then play sing and walla, you have a song.

Tip #1) Dont publically release your lyrics because now someone can come along and take them and theres nothing you can do about it because you have no copy rights.

Upload your song to the Internet so that people can listen to it. If they like it, you know, words spread, and you get famous.
