Don't Know about you, But I am. Cogito, Ergo, Sum. I think, therefore, I am. Or Something Like That.
Why? Because we evolved that way, some creatures evolved claws and teeth to survive in this world, we evolved sentience In order to survive in this world, and from the looks of it, we've done pretty well.

Mostly cuz we think and have made things , and keep moving forward on building and it's human standards that say other things aren't.

yes, because some of us like rotisserie chickens and some of us don't. we are hooked by the aroma and the goldenness of it all, and by the option itself.
