I get late 80's and early 90's mixed up sometime.... I was born in 79 so i grew up in late 80's and all the 90's !!

I lived interior the 80's. It became a sturdy time to flow backpacking and getting as much as all kinds of issues that i'm no longer able to do to any extent further because of the fact of updated international issues. the only element i did no longer like became the hair varieties(vast hair)

Okay first of all, the top 5 would be extremely difficult depending on who you talk to based on the genres you asked. I am 35 and LOVE 80's music.
So here is MY breakdown for the categories you mention by artist. Good luck in your decisions.
Rock:
Basically anything from Boston, Def Leppard, Cheap Trick or Aerosmith.
Rap was just startting and the one group that comes tomind is the Sugarhill Gang and House of Pain.
Pop emerged tremedously with the likes of Madonna, Duran Duran, David Bowie and Cyndi Lauper.

If you have Sirius satellite radio, listen to channel 8, the 80's station, they play all the classics. Men at Work was real big, so were the Police. Have fun at your party
