Most definitely yes. All that is going to happen is both people end up destroying each, making it harder for someone else to enjoy a relationship with that person.

YES, YES and YES again!!! I as stuck in a abusive relationship, and after 4 years decided to back out....Two years late I met a guy, and five years later we got married. Yesterday was my 1st Anniversary, and I thanx my Creator every day that I got out of my horrible ordeal with Mr. UGGGHHHLLLYYYY!!!!

yes... even if I had feelings for him, in the long run if it seemed destructive it wouldn't work out anyway. so even if it hurt, I would end the relationship.
