i have tried everything, updating drivers, trying different players, unistalling and reinstalling hardware...help me!

how do i check to see if it is integrated and how do i know k-lite is the right one?

It is probable that you are in need of a codec pack. Search k-lite codec pack and download the full pack. If you want a good player that comes with the codec, check out video lan. It is the best I have seen for this problem..

YOU need to match up your system,hardware,go to control panel then click on performence then click on systems,at top click on hardware then click devicemanegement,look for dvd/cd then right click click on properties,in box up grade driver,click ok reboot pc then try dvd,if this dosn't work your sound card isn't capable to handle dvd,but able to handle other cds.you might need to buy a video card that 's capable of handleing dvd,

go here http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack_download.htm and download the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.62. when installing it, uncheck the first 2 boxes that say something about installing a media player.

Hello,you might try checking your volume on the player that you are using sometimes they are turned down when the movie comes on.

reinstal your audio driver..
and ck as if it is integrated with dvd player...
