THe best part about christmas eve, at our church we wont have morning services, we will have them at night and the kids sit in on the christmas sermon and singing, it always makes me cry when im holding my kids and we sing the songs. It makes me feel so greatful That we have so much even though at times it seems we don't but we really do.

This Christmas, my children and I will have our family gathering Christmas Eve. I look forward to all of us being together, and I want to hold each one of them close and be thankful to God for the joy of having them in my life, and for giving us time together. I want to thank him for his son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to celebrate His birth, and His life, for that is the true meaning of Christmas.

There are three things that really make Christmas Eve magical:
1. The fabulous excitement and the waiting. In a way I hate it, but it also makes me a better person. I become cheerful, friendly, considerate and plenty more!!!!!
2. Going to Church @ nite (my church does that too) and coming home knowing tomorow is that extra special day.
3. Seeing all the presents and feeling really close to my family!:)
One thing I hate is that Christmas Eve goes for such a long time, and I jst want the night to come so theat I can make it look like Santa came for my little bros....

For me the best part of the Eve is the anticipation. Its not so much the getting as it is the giving, I love thinking about how everyone is going to smile when they open their gifts. its great to anticipate the big celebration and seeing a lot of family the next day. I also love the peace and beauty of the night. I like to look at the tree with all the lights on and the presents wrapped and just be at peace for a few minutes and enjoy the beauty of the holiday.

i usually go to midnight Mass and I enjoy the carols before Mass starts. Merry Christmas!

I am VERY bored on Xmas Eve, Its the LONGEST day of the year. (Although I go to my dads side of the family and open gifts and go to church) I always want nite 2 come sooo bad and it seems like it never does.

the best part is seeing all the presents and think boy I sure cant wait untill tommorrow and then trying to fall asleep as fast as you can so you can wake up early to root through your stocking

thanks. i was still kinda deciding whether or not to go to church tomorrow. i haven't been in a while. but i think i will. i remember the feeling i get there. the songs,candles, and just the feeling of.... warmth.
