Tell her all the sacrifices she'll have to make, and what she would possibly have to go through when people see her. Explain to her that she would have to go through a lot of pain, and much more than that. She would also have to suffer a few rude remarks. Although technology these days are really good, it still might affect her in some way, whether it be physically or mentally. Just try to help her out. Good Luck!

If my sister wanted a sex change ,i sure would not pay for it,you must have a lot of money those things are costly...But its not the money,I would not do it because I would not want to take responsibility in case she finds out she made a mistake..If she pays for it herself and she is not happy,she only has herself to blame.
