i like canadians, they're basically the same as us americans, but with much nicer manners typically (not that we're rude, but it seems most canadians are very very polite ppl).
montreal is my favorite city to visit. but for anyone that does, word of advice..... when you're 18 and not done school, still living with your parents..... dont give the stripper in montreal your phone number.... it seems like a REALLY good idea at the time, but trust me when i say its not.

Muck Raker is just that, a Muck Raker, and probably doesn't know "Shinola" about Canada (Thankfully, as a Canadian, I would rather people of that ilk know as little as possible, and will likely never bother to come to such a beautiful and free place as Canada). For the enlightened Americans though, I invite you to come here and see how our Country is and experience Canada first hand, and most of you will have your minds blown at how different things are here.

I don't see any reason to hate Canadians. However America is a bit of a bully towards Canada. And many people have the attitude that Canada is not a foreign country--it is just an offshoot of America.
I, for one, will always love Canada because they rescued many Americans during the Iran hostage situation.

I think anyone who doesn't like canadians also does not like Japanese, chinese, etc, but I have heard of many Americans travelling in the world today, especially in some countries, claiming to be canadian since they are accepted better in those countries.

We just dont like French Canadians... Mario Lemieux used to be cool but if he moves the Penguins out of Pittsburgh he's off the list... But the rest of Canada we think of as our little sister. We love her as part of the family but we have to pick on her sometimes because she wines a lot and is always snooping around in our business.

Truly, I'd be surprised if most Americans knew where Canada was, let alone enough about them to be pissed at them. Canada has always been cool in my book.
"Blame Canada.....Blame Canada!" I loved that movie.

Because most Canadians are arrogant and look down on Americans.
I love Canada, it's a great country with great views but most Canadians I've met have been huge pricks.

dam Canadians. sneaking over the border, coming down here and taking our jobs... and their government is to blame, they teach them a kind of english up there, you could have one of them standing right next to you and you'd never know, .....until you started liking hockey, then it'd be too late.
