It's cable. Lots of lee-way there compared to most of regular TV. And it seems to be okay if black comedians/actors/musicians use it in the context of comedy, gangsta rap, streetwise chatter, or demonstrating racism. But you'd never get a non-black person using the "n" word on regular TV flippantly.....Michael Richards wasn't even on the tube and he got scored big time.

At a certain time of night, more than likely, after midnight or one in the morning, Comedy Central does not censor foul language.
They've shown a few of the "Celebrity Roasts" at that hour, and nothing that was said was "bleeped" out.
It's still not a good thing for ANYONE of ANY race, creed, or color to say words of a derogatory nature, but no one seems to want to stop it. Although I really wish it would stop.

Muslims are pissed because of the fact the British government gave the Jews Palestine after WW2. They have been kicked out of the holy land whilst they rebelled against Rome and lost... horribly. Europeans did no longer like them in the middle an prolonged time because of the fact they weren't christian and have been blamed for somewhat some issues such because of the fact the 'black dying'. Hitler properly, he believed as maximum racists do immediately that the Jews administration the worlds money and are ruining the international economic gadget or some loopy crap like that. additionally to to be greater particular appropriate to the entire Jew/race element the Isrealites (Israel became created because of the fact the Jewish State) are the individuals concentrated via some Muslims and Jews are the practitioners of the religion in question.

There was an episode of Boston Public a few years ago (network, prime time) that used the word without being censored. I don't know if they had to get permission or not though. It was part of the storyline of the episode, mainly to address to the controversy behind it and why the double standard, and mulitple intentions, of the word exists.

Unfortunately, thanks to all the "let's say what we want and hide behind the freedom of speech right" idiots, there isn't a lot of censorship any more. Even with the "politically correct" activist pushing for non offensiveness, there isn't any shock value anymore. Anyone can say just about anything at anytime in any arena (as long as you don't mention God in public) and it's OK, well, at least it's not illegal and it's your right. This is slowly becoming the downfall of our society as we know it. The only effective protest anyone has anymore is to turn the channel.

It could have been uncut.
Although, I noticed that on "Real World," sometimes they bleeped out the word, and other times they didn`t.
I don`t know what it is. The first time I saw a commercial that said, "Hell," I couldn`t believe it. I know that isn`t a terrible word, but they usually don`t cuss in commercials.
