Yep sure can. Normal is an average set upon a majority of the situation you are speaking of. Like the average child walks at 9 to 12 months, and then there is eye sight based on the majority of people, average grade is a C, in school. But when you beat the average you are considered either a Freak or better than the average bear, because neither is normal. But that is based on biased opinions anyway, because the whole world practically was smoking cigarettes that was not normal at all, but we thought it was right? Now today it is considered abnormal. So go figure? People set that notion of normal based on biased opinions and we really don't know what is normal for us until we try. Like normally speaking someone walks on two legs and another person has only one, is either one abnormal? They both still walk dont they ? So you see, opinions?

Sure, it can be statistically normal in specified attributes (i.e., a normal-height person would be within one standard deviation of the average height of all people).

Getting away from math, a lot of semantics can come into the equation. My opinion is that we have to consider things normal in order to function.

Mathematically (statistically) or psychologically? Statistically "normal" could be defined as an average. Psychologically, "normal" varies depending on who you are consulting. So in that sense, no, nothing can be universally normal.

What is normal for somebody can be abnormal for anybody. If you feel at peace doing something and your soul is happy it is normal. Normal cant be defined, because everyone has his own definition according to his social values and upbringing. In this world everything is normal and everything is abnormal.

Depends on what the particular socially valid norm is. "Normal" just means "according to norm". So, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed is not necessary king (as wonderfully illustrated in H.G. Wells's short story "The Country of the Blind".
