if the person hit you first, then you are well within your rights to use REASONABLE force against her. that means you can hit her back, but using a brick too much.

Well if she hits you first then hit her back as hard as you can. But don't use a brick because that could cause serious damage to a person. Go to the police or to your school and tell them whats happening. Keep your cell phone (if you have one) with you all the time. Good Luck and Be Safe! Merry Christmas!

I think it depends on the harassment, the hitting and whatnot. Arguably, if someone hits you with their hand, a brick is not exactly self-protection unless you can't through a fist back, and even then, most girls can cry their way out of getting charged for any sort of assault, especially juveniles. I would say try to talk to the girl first, see if you can get her to stop, and if not, try to talk more earnestly to your mother and her mother to get her to stop if it's bothering you so much that you feel you might end up committing a crime because you don't like it.

You can do whatever you can to defend you self but if you hit her with the brick and knock her out or something and continue to beat her then you become the aggressor. But hitting her with a brick i don't think will be the answer that solves you problem you need to file a report so that it is documented.

I'm sorry for your trouble. Bullies come in all genders. This is not the last one you will see. You need to learn to defend yourself, take a course in self defense before you get carried away. The secret is that most bullies are cowards and when you stand up for yourself, they usually show their true colors, but be smart, this individual could be unstable, be sure that you can defend yourself.

No you do not have the right to hit them with a brick. YOu have the option of running away if you're attacked and call the police from a neighbor's phone.

You have a right to defend yourself, but, you should just report her to the police. Can you imagine if you threw a brick at her, and killed her? How would you feel then? Just walk away, and ignore her, if you can..

dont carry the brick where ever you go..
the so call "victam" can charge/sue you back..
if you are rich, install a CCTV or hire a private eye to take photo of the scene..
when she wanna attack you
you ran away first, when she hit you,to self defend
you then accidentally " FIND ANYTHING AROUND YOU"
such as BRICK to ram her..
be sure to make the move in the CCTV range ..
then u will self defending..

you definately should report it to the police, and yes u can hit her with a brick...only if she hits u with something of equal force first, then it will be self defense....but if she just hits u with her hand and then u hit her with a brick, you may be in some trouble...its kinda like excessive force in law enforcement

You can hit her if it is your only defense, but know that the cops will know by viewing the scene if there was another way it could have been handled. If there is evidence that you had an alternative option, you can be charged with assult and you can be sued by the girl's family.
