the age of legality is counted from 12:00 am on the day you turn 18,,,,,, so the person would of been 18, unless they started at 11:31 pm and finished at 12:01 a.m.

That is interesting about the whole time thing. That wouldnt matter, your birthday would be considered anytime after midnight. If you were born on the 1st on the night of the 31st and 11:59, that is the last minute before you turn 18. Either way, its statitory rape if the minor is 15 and the adult is 18, even if he turned 18 that day. Welcome to adulthood i guess!

I would think it depends on the consent age in the state it occurred. In oklahoma, the answer would be yes because the age of content is 16 and i'm sure cops don't go by the hour it occured.
the 17 year old was approaching his 18th birthday and hopefully by then had enough common sense not to sleep with a 15 year old.

In this situation it doesn't really matter. The parents could call the cops and say this and when they had a trial hearing the 18 year old would be tried anyway. So a few days before they could easily be charged with rape.

yes, its statuory rape (in certain states). dont know how one can turn 18 at exactly 2:30 am/pm since the day starts at 12 mid.
doesnt matter when one is born. in the eyes of the law, one becomes their age at exacly the start of the day (12 mid).

A judge will not let 30 minutes change his/her opinion.
Ever heard of a 15 year old being tried as an adult because of the adult nature of their act? It happens... often!
