Lets say you were about to have sex, and you really had to go to the bathroom but you didn't, could this have been the reason you loose an erection?

You cannot do both - either pee or have sex, If you must pee, the erection will go away and then do your pee thing and get back to sex. Men cannot do both at the same time - completely normal. Try to empty your bladder before you engage in any sexual activity.
